GO GREEN-andaman islands

yeh dil maange "much" more!!!

Burgundy.wow!!The box of my favourite hair colour and brand stood elegant on the shelf. That was the only one left .My eyes grew wider when I took a closer look. Here is something I wanted to buy for ages and had searched for it all over the major supermarkets in our locality. The content said ammonia free adding to my pleasure and choice. So,minimum damage and yet beautiful hair colour. There was a twisted shiny brown hair brush that came free with the box.The hair colour and the dress that I decided to wear that night would be a perfect match. My excitement rose higher.I grabbed it and turned to read more."Not my choice",I said and literally threw it back on the shelf. The reason was simple-there was a 3 digit number in black print and each digit was the last single digit:(.

Bull or Bear?

Every time I get up (very late) in the morning, it is the market that is always discussed. My father finds ‘the rise’ much more intoxicating than the coffee that is served. A couple of red down arrows shoots up my mother’s blood pressure which even my sibling has not managed.

The start of every year usually shows promising high value shares but this year has been an exception. Nifty declared an all time high at the end of the last year and has somehow managed to hit low recently.

So, as a habit I ask-Why markets tumble?
The first market crash occurred in 1929 and Benjamin, an analyst put forth 3 main ides regarding this-
1) Excessive optimism
2) Manipulation of money and stocks (even an amateur could handle them)
3) Lending of money to the investors.

The factors simply went out of hand
As investors or buyers or sellers, we could have anticipated this tumble but took a convenient seat because of certain bullish factors:
1) Even if the US markets crash, the rest of the world (Asia and others) would take up the burden.
2) In the global level, only profits are high.
But, the picture isn’t as pretty as it was thought to be. When the US market crashed, the others literally followed. The main reason being that strong hold countries like Singapore, Japan and Malaysia had exports to America equivalent to 20% or more of their GDP compared to 8% in China and 2% in India. This has called for recession in most of the sectors like the IT, Banking and retail. All sectors go hand in hand and the case might likely turn epidemic.
The pessimism in the markets may or may not be for long. No, it is the not duration but as a common man, can we sustain with the crash for long?

Forgive

This is one of my favourites.Wrote when I was 15 and even won in an online contest.Might have many mistakes but who cares anyway:)Love the last few lines.

I look back at my gone days,
I never thanked you with my heart,
I see my mistakes every way,
when innocent face began to rot.

I cheated everyone till their sadness,
I didn't care for anyone.
I lied to all with boldness,
waited till job was done.

Money always mattered to me,
I got it by any way.
There was no place for 'WE',
I never listened to what everybody had to say.

Spring,summer,winter gone,
now I lay on my grave,
Thinking of things done,
lips began to pray.
I did it without knowing lord,
I am true to my word,
I set upon my knee ,
I began to plea,
forgive me.

Whatever it takes.

Creative adj 1 having the power to create;2 productive creativity n
Innovate 1 to make changes in something established; introduce new thingsvt 2 to introduce as new

The difference as such puzzles me.When man invented the wheel ,they called it innovation and when rubber tyres replaced the wood, they called it creativity.Hmmm..It made sense but to distinguish both from each other was cumbersome. Then I came across an article which simply stated that creativity comes in a flash while innovation grows with time. So,an innocuous yet obvious question-What sells better?
Innovation is the introduction of something new .it is totally a new concept or theory or even an idea.An innovation to be innovated takes its own time. For example, the introduction of computers began with a simple abacus. The first computers were too bulky and needed skill to even locate the parts but when creativity struck, computers could be placed leisurely on on our palms and even an amateur could use it.
Innovation sometimes is accident.the story of our very own jeans is a good example. The workers at the leather factory weren't able to bear the heat and thus wrapped themselves in a material that we hug in today.Creativity played its role in turning this skin protection clothe into a fashion item.pager is an innovation and mobile a creativity.
The article strongly argued that one should be innovative rather than creative.i wouldn't agree with that.Innovation is needed to make things easier while creativity;to make things more usable.
Without innovation ,there could be no creativity but without creativity, the innovation simple fades out.
